JEE Main 2026 Exam Dates(OUT): NTA JEE Mains 2026 Dates Session 1 & Session 2
The JEE Main 2026 will be held in two sessions- session 1 and session 2. Session 2 will be conducted from 02nd April to 08th April 2026. Whereas Session 1 was successfully conducted from 21st to 29th January 2026. The Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) was on 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January from 3 PM to 6 PM. While the Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) on 29 January from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.

4.0How To Fill the Registration Form for JEE Main 2026?
As the officials release information regarding the start of the registration process for the 2026 exam, you need to follow these steps to fill out the JEE Main 2026 Registration form:
Step-1 Visit the NTA’s JEE Main 2026 Official website.
Step-2 Register by entering your basic details like name, email address, mobile number, etc.
Step-3 Now, log in using the credentials provided and fill out the JEE Main 2026 Application Form.
Step-4 Upload the required documents as per the given specifications.
Step-5 Pay the registration fee.
Step-6 Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
5.0JEE Main 2026 Exam Details
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) comprises two papers.
Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognised by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.
- Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch. and B. Planning courses in the Country.
- The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
- Only Session 1 will be visible in the first session of JEE Main - 2026, and candidates can opt for that.
- Session 2 will be visible in the next session, and the candidates can opt for it. The Session 2 application window will be reopened according to the details in the Information Bulletin and will also be notified separately through a Public Notice.

6.0Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates are required to fill out the registration form for JEE Main exam 2026 through the “Online” mode only from the official website. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
- A candidate must submit only one application, they are not allowed to fill out more than one Application Form, and strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against those who have done so.
- Candidates must strictly follow the instructions in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates who do not comply with the instructions will be summarily disqualified.
- Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians only, as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
