Latest Update (May 15, 2026): The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be held on 21 June 2026. Candidates who have already completed the registration process need not reapply, as their existing application details will be valid for RE-NEET 2026. The candidates will also be allowed an extra 15 minutes in the examination.

Please note that registrations made through any other platform will not be considered valid by the NTA.

As per the latest NTA notification for the RE-NEET 2026 exam, candidates can modify their current address and preferred examination city choices from 15 May 2026 to 21 May 2026 (up to 11:50 PM) through the official website. Candidates who do not update their city preference in this period will continue with their earlier choice of examination city.
Information about the NEET registration form is disclosed in the notification of NTA for NEET UG 2026. However, once the registration process starts, here is a step-by-step guide to registering for NEET 2026.
1. Visit the official website: nta.ac.in/ or neet.nta.nic.in/
2. Click on the registration form link given on the homepage.
3. Click on "New Registration".
4. Enter your basic details such as, name, mobile number, and email address etc., and click on submit button.
5. Enter the received OTP and get registered.
6. Once registered, log in using your application number and password.
7. Fill out the application form and upload the necessary documents.
8. Save, submit, and pay the fees.
9. Download the application form for future reference.
Prior to registration for NEET Exam 2026, it is essential for all applicants to ensure they possess the required documents, both in digital (soft copy) and physical (hard copy) formats. These documents will be necessary for the verification of your candidature, and you should subsequently upload them on the official portal.
To get started with the NEET application process, use the application number and password generated by the system to log in. It's crucial to make sure that the information you enter in the application form matches the details on your Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/University Certificate.

Note: Please make sure that the postal and contact information you provide in the Application Form is accurate. It's your responsibility to ensure that all the information you entered is correct. Please be aware that you won't be able to make any changes to the details you submit in the online application once it's been completed. Additionally, it's important that the mobile number you provide is your own because all future communication from the NTA will be sent to that specific number, which you must register during the application process.
1. Candidates can apply for NEET (UG) – 2026 in “Online” mode only through the website(s) at nta.ac.in/ and neet.nta.nic.in/.
2. Submission of the Online Application Form may be done by accessing the NTA website. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
3. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
4. Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
5. Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
6. All candidates are required to upload address proof (Present and permanent address) during the online Application Form of NEET (UG) – 2026. The address proof may include an AADHAAR Card, Domicile Certificate, Passport, Voter ID card, etc. Both documents (if applicable) are to be merged and uploaded in a single PDF file. If the Present and Permanent addresses are the same, then the same document will suffice.
